Those molded howlers sound the same as the old, regular type, authentic cow horn howlers? I bought one from you four or five........maybe six years ago. Dang my mind is going.......

Ol' Zip is in my hunting vest pocket ready for action.  Can't hang him around my neck as he tends to boss the other calls on my lanyard around.   Yeah, thank God for the reed cover as He knows it needs it!   Brilliant!

Those molded howlers actually DO sound just like a real buffalo horn howler, and it is hard to tell by looking at one that it isn't really buffalo.  These don't have a reed protector though. Mouthpiece is carved directly into the howler.  A groove  for reed retainer band was ground into the original with a dremel. All I do when the molded howler comes in, is cut a reed for it, install the red and fine tune the tone board with a file. One piece, seamless howler that is real handy  to pack around all day.
