Well I cant say much more good about Al's call that I haven't said a 100 times before, except the quality and finish of these calls set the standards.  :congrats: I check Al's web site probably more then anyone else, just because he has such classy combinations of materials, and I know if something will catch my eye it will be his.  :congrats:

I hadn't picked up an acrylic THO call yet, when I came across this one, and I'm a sucker for the silver bands as opposed to brass, and it was decorative to boot. The acrylic as some kind metallic flake look that is very sharp too. This was a no brain-er for me.  :biggrin:

The second call is where the brass bands add extreme class and will catch my eye in an instant. Some folks tend to go over board on calls, but Al has a sixth sense for the subtle but classy call. This one wasn't going anywhere if I could click my mouse and hit the enter button fast enough.  ;yes;

The "Crumpler", what can I say?  :innocentwhistle:     .............   :yahoo: Oh yeah baby!!! I was speaking to Al one night a while back and told him it was a perty call, and he asked if I liked, and of course I said "Hell Yeah, I do"  Well it showed up with the above two calls. This is a very nice call with a squeaker reed in it and it sounds great.......ask my lab.  :biggrin: Al, thanks again, and I appreciate it, and I appreciate you....even when your stubborn.  :congrats:

And three calls from a fella who is quick on Al's tail as far as class, and quality calls........ Joey you are well on your way, and mark these words  "To be a predator call icon"  These three calls I received are all flawless, and believe me I looked.  :shck: :wink: I never was big on the turq accent rings, but I really liked the bands on these calls. Well done. Another thing you have a knack for is placing the right combos of materials together so the contrast well, and one fine example and one of my all time favorite calls, now is the call, I labeled "Pure Class" Simple, subtle, but classy.   :bowingsmilie: :bowingsmilie:

The wooden open reed is from the ever talented Jeff Savoie AKA Krusty Kriers. Jeff makes these calls using his hands and a dremmel tool (no lathe). He has a talent that exceeds that of most call makers. being they are made by hand and Jeff's busy schedule he doesn't make many of these any more. So if ya get the chance. I'll tell ya can't get any better then a Krusty Krier Open Reed. Jeff is a bit stubborn to but none the less a great friend.

This last call, I thought was cool when I picked it up from Clipper. It just happens to be one of my favorite woods too. I don't know much about Clipper, but wish him well in call making and look forward to seeing more of his work.

Wow..... now that there is a lucky week for sure  :shck:

:wo: you'll probably be needing to up your insurance coverage..... just the crumpler alone carries a retail value of something like 31,000.

Very nice additions to a collection that is already way over the top.  :congrats:

Todd,

Those are great looking calls and anyone would be happy to have them in their collection.  While I am not the biggest fan of turquoise, in Joey's calls it sure works.  Those are some good ones.

Jerry

P.S.  You are only missing ONE call from having your collection complete, and there is still time.   :roflmao:   :roflmao:   :roflmao:  i think you know the call - it has everything but the kitchen sink.

Hey Brian, why they gotta be "grubby" hands?  :confused: Nah, man I'm truely lucky and honored to have the "Crumpler" in the collection. Its another one of the calls that has some history and meanings behind it , and truly a great addition.

Super batch of calls Todd !!  :highclap: :highclap: Just curious, can a guy still get a Krusty Krier call from him yet ? or do you have to find one second hand.
