In some of the places I get to hunt you never get him back to the truck except a piece at a time. I bet that thing tore the woods up.

If that mammoth came through the thicket.....I would want something other than a pistol in hand. Heck , the biggest thing I have is a 7mm mag and I would still have to think about the thing turning on me before I shot. And after the shot, Cam would have to get the spare shorts out of the truck for me or him one...maybe both of us.

That is one hellova hog I have seen some 600 to 700 but aint never seen nothing close to that. We hog hunted alot in south AL and I have been out at night with the catch dogs. Could you Imagen wading in the thick with only a flash light and a knife to that in the dark??

.50 S&W took 8 shots and 3 hrs trailing him through the brush. Also had a couple of rifles for back up, don't know if they had a shorts bearer or not.

Lot's of sausage there for sure but it would surprise me if it was fit to eat.

One time, while Bop and I were calling coyotes, we had a wild boar run by us that made ol' hogzilla look like a little piggy....

....at least it did at the time.
