Hey @Todd Rahm, you got any pics of this Geo Magna Kahoopa Doo thats going on right now?
I got a friend in Crivitz (northern Wisconsin) thats sending me pics from his driveway, and they look like the northern lights.
You have to be getting some pics from your friends in AK. :eyebrow:

We see them just about every night on the slop but they aren't the same colors we are getting down south here. Kind of two different birds if ya ask me.

Me brudder in law took these from 36,000 feet, he flies the big rigs:

Our weatherman said we (Southern Wisconsin) would be able to see them best tonight.
I see nothing but stars. And there's absolutely zero city lights here to drowned it out.

Heres one a friend sent from Northern Wisconsin last night

Here's one Loren sent me AK last night. It was 7:30 AK time which was broad daylight since thier sunset was at 10:30

I looked up and all I got was a faceful of rain.

Okanagan

I went out for a minute at 3:00 AM night before last when they were supposed to be strong, and didn't see anything.  It was a clear still night with no clouds and super bright stars, and I was too sleepy to stay up.

My son told me that they were very bright over half the sky the night before.  He'd not seen northern lights here in Washington State before, though had seen them in northern BC near the Yukon.

If you are somewhere where there's a lot of light noise, they don't show up as well.
