Ebay is not what it once used to be.  I sure miss the old E bay.  Used to be a fun place to buy and sell.  Now they are just like a flea market on the bad side of town.

Here's a copy of the email I just sent the moron.

"Dear Sir,
  In light of your new gun policy on eBay I do believe you have cast yourself in a hypocritical situation. Although the tragedy at Virginia Tech was horrible, it wasn't the only tragedy that has taken place.
  In the time since that tragedy, there have been an average of 1500 americans losing their lives per day in auto accidents. I do believe in light of these tragedies that you should also limit your sales of any and all auto parts.
  Also in that same time frame over 2000 americans per day have died of coronary heart disease. In light of this, you should limit anything that could be used to grill, fry or barbecue meat or any product that can be used to assist in preparing meat this way.

I just saw a post on CCO that made me stop and wonder.  It seems odd that everyone (well almost everyone) is taking shots at E bay over their gun policy and I have to wonder who is really to blame?

As hunters, and sportsmen, it seems we shoot ourselves in the foot (figuratively speaking) more times than not.

Look at this post from CCO.

and ask yourself if this is the kind of image you want to portray to the non hunting public.  A hunting vehicle with a wet bar?   I was always taught that guns and booze don't mix.

Maybe it's time to clean up our own acts first.

And while we are beating up E bay, go try to buy ammo from Cabelas if you live in DE, DC, IL, MA, NY or OH,  or relaoding supplies in you live in MD or DC. 

I understand the frustration with E bay, but do you understand my frustration with the people who call themselves "hunters" who drive around in a hunting vehicle with a bar in it?

We are our own worst enimies sometime.

I've never bought or sold anything through eBay, so I really could careless what they allow/don't allow.

Sounds like this decision will drive current businesses that have store fronts with them to other sources..... which sounds like a great opportunity for someone

site. However, there are some items that while legal, may not be safe
for our marketplace. In these instances, our applicable policies go
beyond the law to ensure that our marketplace is safe.

Currently we do not allow actual firearms on the site. After careful
consideration our executives and our Trust and Safety team determined
that any item required to fire a gun has no place on eBay. All of our
policies are under constant review. As the Internet and the way our
communities use the Internet evolves, our policies and our marketplace
must evolve with it. We determined that this policy change was in the
best interest of promoting a safe marketplace for all members.

I remember when E-Bay started,,you could buy damn near ANYTHING on there!!! and I do mean anything,,then I also Remember when they were just STARTING UP & had friggin Rosie O' Lickmaster start speaking for them  and then it just went down hill little by little,and then when E-Bay really started making money their Policies started to get worse and worse and now THIS SHIT !!! I have told a few People on HERE that E-Bay AND Paypal were Anti-Gun and I was told that " I was full of shit " !!! well I hope those people believe me now    so NOW,is there ANY WAY to
"ZUMBO" these Assholes ??? sadly the answer is NO !!! because Zumbo was 1 asshole and E-Bay is FULL of ASSHOLES
