Need info

My Father in Law gave me a Savage Anschutz Model141M in a .22 mag.Has a Simmons 3x9x32 scope on it.
Can anyone give me info on them.Thinking about using it on fox. But have been told it is too light.

I think you have a dandy fox rifle there. Keep your shots at 75 yards or less though.

There's a fella on another board I visit & all he uses is the 22WMR on fox. Stone dead under 100yds with the 40gr CCI's if I remember correctly.

I've taken hundreds of fox with the WMR, I like 50 gr hp's, don't need them for fox but it helps if wiley e. comes along.
The anschultz is a quality firearm, can't go wrong with them, the simmons is a lower priced scope, some folks like them, some don't
