So who's been out and what are you seeing?

My season starts Monday but I can't get out till Tues.  I can't wait!!!!!

Our season opened last weekend, but the temps have been around 90.......I will probably get out on Sunday.

Opens Monday here. Gonna check a trail camera tomorrow, curious to see what's on there.

The neighbor saw a big ol' boy in the field next to our property a few weeks ago.  They think it is the whitetail that Dad missed last year with his rifle.  Dad said that his 170 class buck he took a few years ago would fit inside this sucker's head gear.  Can't wait to till season opens!

Today ends week 2 of our season. Been out most every day. Lots of doe with little ones in tow. Only seen bucks twice. A week or so ago in the evening when we had a cooling rain [they were in velvet and solo]....and yesterday morning several bucks and doe together bounding around the bean field as if playing tag [velvet gone]. There is a big boy with a big rack in this group. Relocated my tree stand yesterday. Maybe I'll get a shot at one this morning

Watched 2 does & a spike this AM. They never came closer than about 100yds.



Now the 15 hen turkeys were all within 5yds of me but fall season hasn't started yet.

Yup... if I had a nickle for every turkey I've seen in the last two week  I only saw a few this morning. Didn't see any horns, looked fairly small, but never came close.
