Hello to all finsandfur members.  My name is Richard Faulkner I am a Fed correctional officer from Mckean co Pa.

WOW where have I been?

Well I have been a member of a lot of these hunting forum boards for a long time. But the last few years I have let work get in the way of all the fun.

I  have been working 2 jobs for about 4 years. I switched jobs a little over 1.5 years ago but was still working 2 jobs. Well I quit one job in Oct. so it one job 40 hours a week. I was beginning to think the wife and kids were forgetting who I was.

I bought a home machine shop from a guy that came into one of the places I use to work. I now play as much as I can in my shop at home. I am trying to learn to do gunsmithing. I want to specialize in truing and accurizing the Rem. 700 bolt action rifles. I am working on a long action now. It will be my "bean field" deer rifle.

I was making predator calls and would like to start that again. I looked at the Custom Call Makers Showcase here and WOW Arky-Yoter Joe you have really raised the bar for all call makers!

I kind of had a wake up call last week. I had been having a little pain in my chest at work and mentioned to my DR. on my last visit. He sent me in to have a stress test. Well it didn't look good so last Friday 9 days ago now I had to go in and have a stent put in my main artery. It was 72% blocked. Everything went real good and I feel better. I have been off work for a week and will be off another week. Not use to being this lazy for so long. I am ready to get back to work. I have been playing in my shop a little this week.

I don't know if I will be able this year but I want to get back into calling coyotes. I want to head back to West Liberty and hunt with JD some more. I always have a great time with you and the country is beautiful there. It is like a whole different type of landscape only 1 hour away! May be even get together with you Brent for that hunt we talked about a couple years ago.

Hope my rambling hasn't gotten to long. I have been trying to catch up on all the stuff I have missed in the last couple years.
