It's confirmed......coyotes are wolves

The December/January issue of Outdoor Life proved what we've been saying..........
Dr. Robert Chambers, whom they refer to as the "Dogfather" of eastern coyote research has it all figured out. He's been studying them since the 50's, so anyone that differs better shut yo mouth..............

I haven't seen the article yet, but wolf DNA is found in domestic canines.  It shouldn't come as a surprise that it's found in coyotes.  However, if it appears in greater quantities in eastern coyotes when compared to western coyotes, then that would confirm speculation about recent crossbreeding.
