I leaning real strong towards lice now. Kinda hoping someone would confirm it. Is there a veterinarian in the house?

never seen canine lice and I've been working with dogs for years. The attached eggs to the hair would make me think that it is lice. The actual bug looking thing you have dont look like anything i've ever seen unless its in a mid stage of hatching and becoming the louse. The kids brought home lice from school once and it didnt look like that bug.

Jim,
Contact a pest contol company or an Entomologist. Ask them if you can send them the samples. One of those
should be able to give you a definitive diagnosis.

He is not real sure yet. The doctors have tried to get additional information about them from the bites that are covering his body. While I have not seen the pictures, I have heard from several of the doctors that said "It isn't pretty!"

Well...I'm guessing I contracted these things after that weekend at Baxters house. Ya see he had to run some errands and was gone for an extra long time

Actually I'm still leaning towards lice. I showed Rick223 the pics last weekend and he instantly said canine lice.
I honestly have never in my entire life seen anything so infested as this coyote hide. I mean INFESTED. I am not exaggerating when I say the coyote hide is literally much heavier in weight due to it. It's un believable.

Can't believe I'm saying this on an open forum, but I called the customer and he wants me to continue on, finish the hide and send it back to him. Wow.....
