Working on a coyote from Michigan out in the shop tonight. Got er all fleshed down to absolutely nothing, took er over to the sink and proceeded to rinse it out.

I rinsed and hosed for close to twenty minutes, and the longer I went the more of these nasty looking things I found. All over the sink, all over my gloves.  :puke:

I aint never seen nothing like this in my 12 years of service. It doesn't look like a flea or it's larvae, and it surely doesnt look like mange mites or their larvae. Not that I have ever seen anyway.

My gloves were literally speckled with them, so I came in and used a jewelers eye to get a close up. Held the jewelers eye over the shutter on my camera and snapped the picture through it.

To the naked eye they were about the size of a pin head DO look a lot like a flea but.......

Notice the strand of hair to the right with more larvea stuck to it. I didnt even notice that until I looked at the pics. This crap was everywhere

:shck: HOLY CRAP !!!!!!  Thats one of those brain eating micro ameoba's (their nasty)  :readthis: You better hurry and get yourself decontaminated. The only way to remove them is to cover your entire body in peanutbutter then jump in bathtub full tomato juice and cat urine and soak for a hour :puke: , then rinse off and get to the closest walk-in freezer and sit in there for 35 minutes (dont forget to leave your clothes out side the freezer) when you leave put on a clean change of clothes.
Hopefully this meathod will keep them off you !!!  Good Luck !!!  I'll be prayin for ya.   :eyebrow:

Tell me something. What kind of manly man would have a jewelers eye? Do you use it to try and find your jewels

The jewelers eye is a handy little device for a lot of things. I use it to remove slivers from the mits of my three little pride and joys.
I use it to exam the inside of my dogs ears.
I use it to go to the bathroom ...  :holdon: ... :nono:

YES! there's a photograph on my ceiling....welcome to life with children.  :iroll:

Jim,
That looks like some type of louse.  They cement their eggs to the hairs or feathers of varous mammals or birds.
They are a little over a millimeter in length.
