Even now I have a catch pole in my truck.....I used it three times at work last year to catch some cats. One of them bit a girl and made her sick so of course they ask for me. I caught them in a live trap then used the catch pole to transfer them to the carrier and with that cable around thier neck they cant do much at the end of that pole.
I used it a while back to release a coon hound from a leg hold trap, fed him and put him in the truck and took him home(Adress on the collar and I knew him) I have seen coyotes in a trap around here and from what I have seen this one was calm. That looked like a "Drag", They are illegal here in WV.
