Even the fresh glazing of snow didn't help me to produce any fur this morning. All though it was mostly gone by 10:30 this morning.

I went back down to the bridge crossing which I posted the photos of a couple weeks ago.
This time I made a totally different approach, the only thing down wind of me was the river, and I kept it there the whole time, it was ideal. Never called a thing but three hawks and a bald eagle.

Came up on this little feeder creek. It connected two larger sections of the river and ran straight for about 500 yds and then dried up right at the base of a small rise in the dirt about 10 feet from the river itself, which prevented it from flowing through.

All those pitter patters in that mud, I walked the entire thing, and not one of them belonged to a coyote.
It was pretty much cold calling, but i wont be going back there. Mannnnnn and it looked so ideal.

Ya know what?......I'm still a virgin this season

Been buried in soccer, but that season is over and now I'm getting time to focus on MY season. My next shot yote will be my first so the guys have some fresh meat to chew on, though I'm planning on fixing that as quick as possible.

Wonder which of us will connect first? Friendly wager?

Sorry Jim.....I know what ya mean about places that look soooo good, only to find that ain't the way it is.....I do the same thing. Then places I sometimes think look dismal, turn out to be great producers.....I dunno.... :madd:
