I got home tonight around 5:30, checking my email, I hear what sounds like a gunshot right behind the house, about 10 seconds later serious SKUNK smell, im like WTH?!...in town sorta, so I look out the bedroom window and see a guy in the strip of trees and brush seperating our backyards, thought the neigbhor capped a skunk, out steps a F&G CO with a dead skunk in one of those noose poles........GEEZUS I see the CO truck in the driveway, he lays it on the grass and is getitng a bag, im like Havahart trap and a damned blanket= NO SMELL!.......Im burning Yankee candles trying to kill the dang smell!!

Kee once told me his trick to removing a skunk from a steel trap. He always tried to make a spine or lung shot. Something about skunks needing to inhale to spray?
