Looks like an absolute blast to me. Next year, Lord willing, I will be there smashing my head into a corner.  :roflmao:

Congrats to JD and Brent.........good calling fellas.  :congrats:

I sure have noticed that coyote hunters are a class all their own.......... Not sure what class you'd call it, but all the same.  :laf:

I had a great trip from the moment I walked in the door Friday afternoon until the point I finally slumbered my way to the truck on Sunday evening!  The 8 hour drive each way turned out to be exactly 1,000.3 miles on the tripometer when I stopped in my driveway!

Quote from: keekee on August 25, 2008, 08:48:11 PMThanks to Joe for all the help and to Kelly, JRB and Randy as well.

Hell I was honored to be a part of it all!  I learned a lot about calling contest there- not just how to score one but also how to call in one!  There were times I thought I could really hang with that field of callers if I had prepared myself- then there were times I was glad my ass wasn't up on that stage trying to follow one of those performances! LOL!

The turnout of vendors and spectators was honestly a little lower than I expected- but the quality of the people that showed up was certainly high.  I finally had the opportunity to put faces with names on a couple guys that I've seen online for nearly 10 years.  Spent some time with old friends, conversed with some of the best in the business, made many new friendships and even buried the hatchet with a couple old adversaries.  Sometimes it's refreshing to get away from this keyboard media and get to know people outright.

Some of you guys really missed out on some good times at Hooters on Saturday night!  I guess the service sucked for a lot of tables, but I had already eaten and drank 6 beers by the time Kee & Canine had their meals, so I cannot complain.  Not to mention my bill for myself and 4 others only came to $70!?!?!   That was really a great time- can't wait to do it again!

Here's a link to all the pictures and reports that came from my camp: unfortunately I lost all the pictures taken on Sunday!

Life's tough, it's tougher if you're a nasty, fat, unemployable, drunk, socialist. To say nothing of the fact you are an embezzler.

R Buker

Thanks a lot champion.  You could have stopped and picked me up.  I'm almost on the way for ya.

Oh, yeah, I was busy that weekend taking pics at the renfest in Shakopee...

Now, be honest, don't I have the best pictures from that weekend?

She was one of the merchants there and was selling knives and swords.  That, my friend, is a dagger and it's why you behave yourself around those women!   :sneer:
