Well in this world of high prices and food thats bad for you I have been trying to forage for wild edibles when im out in the field, just to be healthier and save some money on groceries....I have been having mixed results...I tried these...man they go down tuff and come out tuffer, dont know how them deer n turkeys do it!

These looked pretty yummee, not sure what they are, but after testing a handful, I saw Elvis walking across the desert with a naked indian...

And finally I said hey! :wo:, everything loves chokecherries right?....Holy Dual AR15's  :shck:....they pucker you up on both ends and run through a fella faster then Oprah hitting the free waffle breakfast at the HoJo:

Getting a little fed up (no pun intended) with the plant foraging Im going to try my luck with a good, pre-tenderized Road-Kill Coon Roast  : :innocentwhistle:

You are truly nuttier (pun intended) then a loon :eyebrownod:

I love the shot of the coon. You couldn't just stand over it and take the picture, no  :nono: you had to lay right down there with it, become one with it and then take the pic  :roflmao: Nice touch though :congrats:

Have you ever tried smart pills? They are little balls, and come in piles on the ground and when they start to taste like crap......Youre getting smart!................ :laf:

:roflmao:..theres some interesting stuff out there ....so Jimbo, I emailed my fellow NH lad, Browning a pic of the coon and told him I called it in with my FX3 and got him whipped into a frenzy before I confessed it was a Goodyeared coon  :roflmao: ....Al, that smart pill joke is one of my dads favorites, he told us that as kids haha...Jimbo, I seriously was gunna put my FX3 and rifle by the coon to add some realism for browning but man that coon was gettin mighty ripe :puke:

guess i'm not to smart but: if you shell the acorns, grind them soak in water (changeing it x3 but dont soak longer then a 1/2 day) grind real fine and then dry them it makes a passable flour. if ground fine enough it can be mixed with your pancake mix half/half  (not just pancakes but waffles biscuits you get the idea) it will stretch things out.
