High Tech Varmints another VarmintHunter.org magazine article this issue and was written by L.P Brezny
On page 50

Now first of all L.P Brezny is the founder and owner of the Metro Gun System, http://www.metrogun.com/
Which is in my eyes, a very unique silencer for shotguns.

I can't believe I've never thought of this or heard of others doing it. Using a silencer for hunting Crows or Coyotes. :doh2:
This guy's got quite the set up. The choke/silencers look to be well over four feet in length.  :laf:

Anyone ever seen such a thing or have any experience with anything similar?

The pic reminds me of an article I read many years ago about the lrgest caliber shotgun. I believe it was a 1ga.
It was overseas somewhere where they claimed the wind was so very different from ours they were required much longer shots at shore line birds. The barrels were like 4 feet long and the shell held something like 6 oz. of shot.
But I never heard of a silencer for a shotgun :laf:

Jim, over at Crowbusters guys use them quite a bit,   I think they had the specs on making them.

Been so long since I've been over there I've forgotten my member number to log into the member area.

the guy on crowbusters is gadget bob, his crew the texas crow patrol use them often and hes a big proponent of their effectiveness.

The metro gun barrel extension is more of a sound diffuser similar to a ported barrel. Letting gasses excape into surroung foliage. Not a silencer. Therefore not requiring Fed' permits.

So they found a loop hole. :laf:

I like it even more now.
