Ours just opened Wed. I probably won't get out until Sun. afternoon.
But I gotta admit, it'd hafta be pretty dang big for me to end my season too quick.

Diane & I went out last Saturday & that was it. I'm hoping to get her back out Sunday evening now. I would really like for the beans to be off in this one area we hunt too. That should make things a little easier for us.

I went out a couple of weeks back for the early "doe only" season here in the Special Regs Area of PA.  Managed to fill one of my tags with my crossbow.  We've had grilled, bacon wrapped tenderloin a few times! I'll get out again this coming week I believe, as our Archery buck season opened today.

The hunting has been pretty good around here.  It is just the finding that I am having problems with.  The turkeys are out - including me, the squirrels are out - including me, but the deer are still in the corn.  But it has been nice to be out in the woods with the cooler temps and changing of leaves.

I havent seen any good kills in my neck of the woods, not sure if not many people are getting out, or I'm just not seeing em. Our farmers are just starting to pull their corn here.

Went coyote hunting with John today though and called in some pissed off house dogs....... I bout crapped myself when they charged up to about 15 feet...... Seen one red fox and heard one deep sounding yote howl.....Fun day!

They actually interrupted our Bow season by opening rifle a month early with the "earn a buck" routine. I even got volunteered to help butcher one up tonight.

I can't believe no ones posting any deer for the bow contest. Dont make me go buy a bow

My buddy Ed was out today on my farm and heard two different coyotes a howling (saw five does)....... That aint helping any

I love that call, Hell I make em myself and the first time I used your call this little guy came on a string.
I did take the o-ring off the reed but it is in my pocket for my next hunt.....I will post something when my back feels it aint mad at ya no more.

I went back out tonight and heard a bunch of yotes but saw no deer in the woods but I saw a bunch of em in the fields on the way home.
