as for the ecallers I believe that one should definatly got for a youth prize for best hunting story with photos can be any kind of hunting just as long as there are photos to go along with it I would hope that this would lead to more of our young hunters getting more involved here on the board and getting out and hunting with Mom and Dad alot more as well. then we could have a predator/crow hunting competiton with scores for each animal even throw in varmints to boot give the prize for best score total of course we would vote on proper scoring system before the competiton started here on the forum to be fair and of course all entries would require photos with the F&F Logo and then of course put one up for sale on the F&F forum fund raiser page with all monies going to the F&f bank but thats just all I was thinking of

Yeah right now you guys no as much as I do.

The callers are ours, once every quarter during 2009, I'm just trying to come up with good ideas to hand them out to the members, and get FnF some promotion in the process, such as maybe some new youth members, etc.

I've gotten a few ideas off of whats been posted, I'd like ya's to keep hammering em in though.

I agree with one going to youth and one for the FNF bank. Don't know about the others.
How about a "Young Hunter" forum for kids only to post their stories in?

This is going to be tougher then I thought.

I really like the ideas on a youth only contest, but how do I call it when so many of you brought it up?

Should we use the caller that was gonna be for the best idea here and use it for a youth contest? Especially since no one persons idea is going to cover the entire 4 caller give away?
And then have three other contests open to everyone for the other three?...like maybe numbers, or species, or weights, or stories, heck we could use any three of those.

As much as I like the idea of auctioning one of for the FnF Funds, I personally would rather give them away in the contests then I would give one to the highest bidder of an auction. I'd feel guilty collecting money for something that was givin to me.

As long as a youth gets one..........I don't see anyone arguing with that at all. Hunting stories with pics are very popular, I think but you got the stats see what we like The best and have the contests according to our favorite subjects.

How about this Jim. Lets figure out what to do with the 1st one 1st. Once this is settled we can work on the 2nd one. And so on. It's good to throw out ideas enmasse but I think we can be more versatile by better coordination.

Now if there were to be one given to a Member here I would like to see the contest go like this.

Everybody that posts a picture of a called & shot predator gets 1 ticket in a hat. Only 1 ticket for each member. Not 1 for each kill. This will make it fair for the folks that can't hunt as much as others or are in areas with fewer coyotes.

The picture will have to have something drawn up nicely referring to the Western Rivers E-Call Giveaway thru FnF. Make it on the computer or have a child draw something on cardboard with markers. So long as WR & FnF gets the glory for all to see. Make it bold or colorful so it stands out.

This contest can begin on Dec xx since the only requirement would be that you are a participating member of the FnF board as of Dec xx. The contest can end on March xx,2009. That should give everybody ample time to get in a lot of quality stands before the end of the contest.

Just some thoughts I've been toying with on my end. HTH

I like that last idea of hammers best. It evens the playing field for all, oldtimer and beginer alike. One entry perhunter and there must be a photo and story to go along. Gotta have entertainment for the masses ya know.

Two for youth hunters. Promoting the sport of hunting period will help keep some out of trouble in the future. Same deal as above. Story and photo.

Last one to th LBL hunt to help us promote the sport and the hunt. Its free and it is given away free to the drawn name of one of the participants at t LBL. Just my thoughts on it. Jimmie

I like Hammer's and Jimmie in KY's ideas. Those seem like they'd get the most participation and be the most fair to all. IMHO.
