Got a call from a lawyer yesterday morning and she told me I had been successful on my bid for a 1/4 section[160 acres].  I guess I maybe shouldn't talk to bankers, lawyers or politicians as she then stated that she wanted my lawyers name.  I told her I didn't have one as I thought they were all a blight on society and should get the same treatment as other parasites[things went a bit downhill from there].  It does turn out that I don't need a lawyer, certified check or all the other things she said I needed.  I take over possesion on June 15th of this waste land that I took Wilma, Bob and Don to look at last eve.  Amongst other things we found Moose, Elk, Deer, Coyote and Rabbit scat.  Heard three different Ruffies drumming and saw 4 whitetails, 7 Mulies and 1 porcupine.
There is a almost new regulation size dugout.

The boys found this shed.

There is even a house on the property. The people who built this house obviously had money when they moved here because they sure didn't pay for it on this land.

The barn.

Don and his find by the barn

Livestock in the barn.

Machinery in the deal.

This opening runs the whole length of the property which is covered by trees on about 75 acres.

I say what I think not think what I say.

Livestock in the barn  :roflmao: :eyebrownod:

That house looks like it was quite the nice place in it's day.
Cool pics.
Is that a poop pit or man made pond?

That hole was dug for the express purpose of holding water for livestock Jim.  A poop pit of that size would hold all the poop in our county for years as we have no people.

Seriously? wow.
I meant maybe an old farm poop pit. We've got huge poop pits on some farms here. Some over 100 yards wide either direction and up to 12 feet deep.

How do you teach the cows to poop in a pit Jim?  Up here they mostly just raise their tale where ever they are and ....      This piece of land will hold 10 cow calf pairs for the summer and that's it.

Al you can come and find all the bent nails you need as I already have enough of them.

Thanks guys.

Born and raised in the southern highlands of Appalachia, I'm just an ol' country boy who enjoys calling coyotes... nothing more, nothing less.
