I aint be hatin nuthin nor nobody. Except the ones that are trying to take away what I've worked for. How can you or anybody else justify real time access to MY bank accounts?  Do you have that much money that you don't give a damn if they come in & take your next house payment without asking? Well I sure as hell do because the not so white house has been paid for for years & now they want to take me house payment again!! Where do I go when I get kicked out due to the 50% taxes from my pay check.

Other than the obvious above statements the only other reason I can see for you pawns to vote for your hitler is that you've never had to work for anything. It's always been given to you. Mom I want!! Dad I need!! When I wanted something I mowed grass or raked leaves. I used to shovel driveways & walkways for money in the winter. Now I do it for free for the elderly because they've paid their dues to this Nation & it's time I stood up & helped them with whatever I can. I guess if you're young & have never had to work for anything then you obviously wouldn't have anything to lose. Well I do & that pisses me off. This is nothing more than global welfare. These sunsabitches want us to have nothing,, except "FREE" gealth care  :doh2:,, while they have everything. Two social classes does not nor will it ever be a democracy or a free Nation.

And speaking of approval ratings I seen where your new messiah is down to 55%. I guess the disciples didn't like the Red Kool Aid after all. And to top this all off you come to a hunting board where the real Americans come to relax after work,, well those that are lucky enough right now to have a job,, & try to spew the filth & lies of the kenyan kamikaze. And I wouldn't mind an answer to one of my questions if you're still around.

Quote:readthis: At what point does YOUR president get off his deadbeat welfare never held a job ass & bring American jobs back to this country to support all this "FREE" health care for the masses??

You see he's not interested in creating or bringing back jobs. All he wants is a socialist society with himself in charge. Well guess what,, Americans are the greediest sumbitches on this Planet & I guarantee you Brutus will strike again. I just hope I'm alive to celebrate when he does.  :yoyo: :yoyo:

Rep. Shadegg: Obama Misleads on Healthcare

Wednesday, July 29, 2009 3:01 PM

By: Ronald Kessler    Article Font Size

President Barack Obama has been making misleading claims about his healthcare proposals, Rep. John Shadegg, an Arizona Republican, tells Newsmax.

Shadegg, a member of the House Energy and Commerce Committee, notes that Obama said in his speech on healthcare reform that the legislation he and congressional Democrats propose will keep government out of healthcare decisions, and Americans will have the option to keep your insurance if youre happy with it.

In fact, Shadegg says the House bill inserts the federal government and federal bureaucrats in virtually every healthcare decision in America. And, under the clear terms of the bill, you will not be able to keep your current plan, whether you like it or not.

Shadegg sees the House bill as a massive takeover of every aspect of healthcare. The legislation empowers bureaucrats to make virtually every decision, he says. It creates a new healthcare advisory commission, a new healthcare benefits board. It creates a new commissioner who would have powers just short of the powers of the president.

It dictates what must be contained in every policy in America, down to what they must cover, what appeals process it must have, all the way down to how insurance firms must advertise in a manner acceptable to the federal government. It is a massive federal government takeover where bureaucrats and the government will be involved in every healthcare decision.

As for Obamas claim that Americans can keep their present insurance if they wish, given the requirement imposed on private plans by the House bill, That simply again is flat false, Shadegg says. The House bill sets forth all these standards that every plan in America must meet within five years, he says. It sets forth the minimum essential benefits; it sets forth the coverage standards; it sets forth what things must be covered. But it also says this new board not yet created shall prescribe even more of the requirements that the plan must meet.

No plan currently in existence in America could possibly already meet all of those standards. Therefore, after five years, no plan that exists today will continue to exist. And as a result of that, the notion that if you have a plan you like you can keep it, is simply wrong.

Shadegg says its clear that Obama and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi aim to nationalize healthcare in America in order to make Americans more dependent on the government and therefore on Democrats, who espouse more government control and handouts.

I think their proposal is designed to centralize power here, create government control, and create dependency by the populace on government-provided healthcare, Shadegg says. They contend they can do that and cover all Americans while bringing down costs.

"Its pretty obvious that they cant, and thank goodness the congressional budget office has been pretty candid and straightforward in saying no.

This is not going to bring down costs, its going to increase the cost burden on the United States federal government and on all providers.

Republicans agree that no American should be forced into bankruptcy as a result of a health condition, Shadegg says. Its important to understand that this nation pretty much has already made a decision that we dont want anybody doing without healthcare. No one in your reading audience got to work this morning driving past somebody with a broken leg dragging it down the street because they couldnt get it cared for.

In fact, Shadegg says, it was Republicans and President George Bush who four years ago enacted a bill that encouraged states to form pools for high-risk patients, so they would not be denied coverage because of pre-existing conditions.

While Republicans support healthcare reform, We dont believe in throwing out the good with the bad, Shadegg says. There are lots of good things in the American healthcare system. It clearly produces excellence.

Indeed, cancer survival rates are better in the United States than in Canada, Europe, or England. Theyre dramatically better for prostate cancer, theyre dramatically better for breast cancer, than in any of those countries. So why would we want to go to that kind of a system?

Instead of government control, Republicans favor a patient-choice-driven system that empowers individuals, enables them to control their own healthcare, and would let every American pick a plan of their choosing, whether they choose their employers plan or they choose some other plan, Shadegg says.

He adds, We want to give more pooling mechanisms so they have more places to choose from and give individual Americans control of their healthcare coverage, as theyre in control of their auto insurance or their homeowners insurance or their renters insurance or their life insurance.

Behind the Democrats approach is the fact that the left does not trust people to take care of their own lives, Shadegg says. The left simply doesnt believe that people know how to make good decisions for themselves, and so they want to create care for people that is run by the smart people federal bureaucrats.

"The reality is, the best healthcare system in the world is a healthcare system where your doctor and you are empowered to make appropriate decisions for yourself with knowledge, but unfettered by some government bureaucrat saying this is the right treatment for you, and oh by the way, you cant have this treatment, this treatment, or this treatment.

Bolding & red hilites were by me( HaMeR aka Glen Shaffer). Read the last paragraph. It is very obvious to the real Americans on this board but I thought I would give it extra special attention.

Jimmie in Ky

I have three bad disc's in my back. A knee cap torn in two. and this past year have come down with the gout. Almost forgot about the major depression due to NAFTA and my job being shipped to Mexico, no matter who passeed the damned thing. All of this and the government says I can't have the disability I have paid for all of my working life. It's my money but  can't have it back   :rolleye:

And you believe these people have the right to form a commity with the ability to check into your bank account to say what health care plan you qualify for. No damn thanks, I have already had a federal judge change the contract we worked for that said we did not have to pay for insurance after retirement to one that takes money up front from the small pension I got for many years of service to t company that moved my job to mexico.

As  a citizen of this nation I do not have to accept the regime in power at this time. I have the right to opose this fool at any time I wish and within a few years will vote to throw his fanny out of office. Jimmie

Wow! The level of discourse dropped like Bush's approval rating!

As usual, all hate, no substance. The sooner you all accept that this is YOUR president too and you're stuck with him whether you like it or not, the better off we will all be. You want a different health plan? go out and talk to your elected officials, don't just sit here and call them names. And I mean actually talk, not just going out and yelling like all those idiots have been doing at town hall meetings. What's the point of sitting there yelling?

I just came here to say that the original post was all lies. Nobody has refuted that. Hmmm.

I write and call them every day and I DID NOT VOTE for that stupid smbitch and I will not rest till he is out of office!
You do not know everyone here you just came here to start $hit ......Go back to the corner you were cowering in or stay and get to know what your talking about before ya run your mouth.
If I had a JOB then maybe I could believe heath care could be affordable.....There are Many thousands of folks here in WV that can not get a job because Wal mart and K mart are all full........
I just came here to say if you were involved at all in this board......you would have more respect for the good folks on it!
You are not so PI$$ OFF!

This is typical of the way they operate.  They only  believe in 1/2 of the 1st Amendment. That would be the 1/2 where they get to speak then when it's time to listen they walk away so nobody can exercise their 1/2 of the 1st Amendment. Seems we do need some CHANGE in this Nation.

#1-- Term limits on EVERY elected official on EVERY level of government.

#2-- A new Amendment to the Constitution that says "Since you have spoken your mind & somebody listened,, then it's now time to shut up & listen to what your audience has to say."

#3-- Drug testing for every American citizen to recieve their monthly checks. After all,, most of the work force,, or what is left of it,, has to undergo drug screening to earn that money for those people.

#4-- From now on every able bodied American that is on welfare will be counted in the Nations unemployment rate. That should scare the hell out of anybody that wants to loan us money.

#5-- Instead of Gold being the backer to our currency lets try an honest approach for a change. Lets tell the World our money is backed by yours truly,, the working stiff. It's obvious that when jobs are abundant our money is stronger. Unlike right now when unemployment is as high as it is.

Here's a lesson on Social Security. Ya reckon the health plan will be any better?

Your Social Security

Franklin Roosevelt, a Democrat, introduced the Social
Security (FICA) Program.  He promised:

1.) That participation in the Program would be
completely voluntary.

2.) That the participants would only have to pay
1% of the first $1,400 of their annual
incomes into the Program,

3.) That the money the participants elected to put
into the Program would be deductible from
their income for tax purposes each year,

4.) That the money the participants put into the
Independent 'Trust Fund' rather than into the
General Operating Fund, and therefore, would
only be used to fund the Social Security
Retirement Program, and no other
Government program, and,

5.) That the annuity payments to the retirees
would never be taxed as income.

Since many of us have paid into FICA for years and are
now receiving a Social Security check every month --
and then finding that we are getting taxed on 85% of
the money we paid to the federal government to 'put
away', you may be interested in the following:

Q: Which political party took Social Security from the
Independent 'Trust Fund' and put it in to the
General Fund so that Congress could spend it?

A: It was Lyndon Johnson and the Democratically-
controlled House and Senate..

Q: Which political party eliminated the income tax
deduction for Social Security (FICA) withholding?

A: The Democratic Party.

Q: Which political party started taxing Social
Security annuities?

A: The Democratic Party, with Al Gore casting the
'tie-breaking' deciding vote as President of the
Senate, while he was Vice President of the   U.S.

Q: Which political party decided to start giving
annuity payments to immigrants?

AND MY FAVORITE:

A: That's right! Jimmy Carter and the Democratic Party.
Immigrants moved into this country, and at age 65,
they began to receive Social Security payments! The
Democratic Party gave these payments to them
even though they never paid a dime into it!

Then, after violating the original contract (FICA), the Democrats turn around and tell you that the Republicans want to take your Social Security away!

And the worst part about it is, uninformed citizens believe it!

Bop you are so right and right now we have Democratic controlled government that is trying to move this country into socialism and taking away our Freedom, invading our privacy, The (gcas) guy that made the post defending the Health Care plan is more than likely a ACORN member paid to scan the Internet for dissent , if so,that is illegal :rolleye: . Has anyone seen him post on any other forums? I was glad to see the Members on this forum saw what he was up to and called his hand.

I have a question and would like comments from several members. ( Do any of you feel its inappropriate to discuss Politics on this forum ?) cc

GCAS BY THE WAY STANDS FOR ( GRANTS CONTRACTS ACCOUNTING SERVICES) A GOVERNMENT AGENCY

I feel kinda bad that I allowed the little turd burglar to drag me down to his level but it also felt good to say what I did in those posts. I felt a little uncomfortable in that I know some folks here,, my Friends,, don't like to mix politics with hunting on their escape boards but on the other hand we need to keep abreast of everything as well.

Dang, now that's a tough question. I guess my answer is yes and no.

Do I think what that little troll did is appropriate? No, but I believe he has the right to speak freely if it's his thoughts and not someone else pulling his strings.

Yes, because if we aren't talking about it and expressing the feelings of gunowners, then our younguns won't know what to believe.
They are bombarded at school, radio, t.v. and everything else about how great Obama is, especially the media save for FOX.

Here we can let them know that liberals are only liberal if you are far left. They are very narrow and closeminded to any others.
They villify Ann Coulter, Glenn Beck, Rush, Hannity and many others. Those people just happen to share my views.

Do I want to make enemies on this board with my friends? No I don't, but spirited discussion can be healthy at times.

My son and daughter are both being trained by me to think for themselves, but to remember where they came from. We work for our money, we don't take handouts.
We respect folks, but don't take trash from any of them.
They are no better than anyone, but nobody is better than them either. We are all created equal.
Being radical for the sake of being radical is horse dung, but fight with everything in you for something you believe in.
NEVER, EVER bow to anyone but GOD.

You said a mouthful there THO. I got a video I'm going to post soon. Talking about using formulas to decide how much treatment the elderly should get. It is very good monetarily to cut them loose, according to this formula anyway. The problem is, what if it's your mom or wife?
Will you give a rat's butt about what is a good cost cutting idea then?  :noway:
