I shot at a coyote about 3 weeks ago trotting across a hay field. It would not stop and i knew i hit it but it ran off. I hunted untill dark but could not find it. Yesterday i saw buzzards seting in a tree next to this hay field so i go take a look to see what they are eating and there was the coyote. It was about 60 yards from where i last saw it. I shot it with a 243 win with an 87 grain bullet. I guess the bullet was a little heavy.
Glad to hear that it didn't go to waste. Go buzzards!

Yup, Glad the Buzzards got a meal, :congrats: , Them 243's are hard to beat. :yoyo: :highclap: cc
I've lost a "few" over the years. Lost more with the bigger calibers than with the 22 centerfires.
