Something i never knew about but I guess in pa if you kill a buck and leave a gut pile your supposed to hang the nuts in the tree there.  I seen it a few times hunting public but never understood it.  Hell we used to joke with other guys in the camp by putting them in their gloves or pack just for giggles n chits.
