We have had a few things going on here on the home front so I have not been able to respond to a few posts, will get to it now.  In the mean time, I was down in the Alaska Range this morning and this guy caught my eye.  His coat is still in real nice shape, he was in a National Park, so even if I were hunting he was off limits.

Nice pictures, John.   We were lucky enough to see several grizzlies in Denali last year.   They are awesome to look at........... from a safe distance.

You guys have some really cool pics you've posted here. As usual these don't disappoint either.   Thanks for sharing!!  :yoyo: :yoyo:

How big do you suppose that critter is?? He looks like a younger bear to me. Someone with NO experience seeing them that is. His back is very flat with not much belly.

Hawks Feather

Nice looking bear and probably a smart one too.  At least smart enough to know a safe place to live.

Good call Hammer, I was thinking about three years old, showed them to a guy that I hunt with and he thinks in the two to three year range as well.
