The weatherman seems to be having fun trying to second-guess Mother Nature.  With each couple of hours they are upping the amount of snow that we are to get.  Started at 1-2 inches and now I just heard 12-18 inches.  It might be interesting.  As long as the heat and power don't go out I will be fine.

Well we are up to 10 inches and the heavy snow is still to come tonight and tomorrow morning.  They might have this one.

Well, we ended up with around 14 inches and some pretty good drifts for around here.  I ran the snow blower four times yesterday and once this morning.  But right now the sun is out and it looks really nice outside even at 10 degrees. I am going to have to go out and work on the alley that leads to my driveway.  Some guy in a snowplow thought he would be nice and clear it out - only to get stuck.  He finally took the top off and left a two foot pile.  Thought maybe he would come back around and clean up his mess.  I thought wrong.

All we got after an inch or so of early morning heavy wet snow was 35* & rain the rest of the day & evening. I now have a 160' ice slide of a driveway. Good thing I live on flat ground!! Would much rather have the snow here!!

I took Becky out for an eye exam this afternoon after the level 3 was lowered to 2.  The main streets had the snow off, but it was a lot like your driveway.  The Northside hill, which is not much of a hill, had a couple of vehicles that were sitting there spinning.  They were both in the curb lane so I just went to the middle and passed them.  Now we are getting the lower temps.  A friend in Columbus had it like you - light snow, rain, and now ice.  Funny thing is that we are both in the same state and are having this much difference in weather.

Yeah I know. Most of ours had a strong Southern draw after about 11AM. Then Sunday evening it did a 180* & the cold N & NW winds came thru while it was raining. Trust me,, I would rather dig out of a foot of snow than have a hockey rink for a driveway & no way to host a hockey game!!

Go ahead & ask Mr. John.

John is wondering what snow and ice are on the ground.  He has only seen ice in lemonade.

It's been pretty cold around here also.  Just this morning I had to put on a long sleeve shirt so I could have my morning coffee on the back patio.

Wednesday was 43* here & the whole ice coated driveway melted.

Thursday evening it dipped back below freezing & refroze the drivweway. Plus it left almost 3" of snow on top of it. Never got above 31*.

Today it was 11* at 6:30AM & has since climbed to 30*.

Sat/Sunday is to be in the mid 40's with a 50% chance of rain all of Sunday afternoon into the night.

Monday the temps dip back below freezing whilst the rain continues,, which then turns to freezing rain by 7AM,, which is just before the snow resumes.

Sure you don't want to move up this way??

We hit a high of 29 and that allowed the salt to start melting the ice in the streets.  I think John uses salt too.  He puts it on his meat and potatoes.

You guys do realize that you are picking on a senile old handicapped soldier.  I have actually printed copies of your replies and forwarded them to AG Holder for action under the Americans with Disabilities Act, this could also be classified as a Hate Crime.  You all are in big trouble.

P.S.  It was seventy-two at 11:30AM
