I don't know anything about this thing but figured some of you old timers would enjoy it. My work sometimes restores old things for the local transportation museum. I'll take more if they get it done.

Oh yeah the ol John Deere 2 cylinder hand crank engine that has a very distinct sound
Do you know what year it is? I am guessing in the mid 1940's

It almost looks like the Trax are on backwards
Looks like it would slide right over the mud and terrain instead of grabbing a bite of it. The other direction offers a nice wedge shape, dig in.

Wierd

I'll have to check Bill.

Funny you say that Jim, I kinda was thinking the same thing when I took the pictures.

5 SHOTS

I have no idea what I am talking about, but I think the tracks are on right. If they were turned the other way, dirt and rocks would be forced into the joint between the sections.  But don't take my word for it, I'm just guessing.  :innocentwhistle:
sometimes I wonder....is that getting closer..... then it hits me

I had a personal conflict the other day, now I'm not speaking to myself.... I'm getting lonesome

I met the girl of my dreams, I was the man of her dreams too.....she used the term "nightmares" though.

:eyebrownod: yeah that makes sense but it's still a funky design.

They obviously reworked that gig anyway, cause you dont see funky trax like that anymore
