Can you believe this:

These guys were right in my front yard yesterday morning (4/11/08).  Saw them out the picture window.

Here's a better photo.  It's Sunday no less, they must know they are safe?  They went right across the front yard, across the driveway and down over the hill behind the house.  Here is one of them shot when I went out on the porch to get a better look.  They were so close I knew I would scare them off.  They were gobbling the whole time.

I tried gobbling with my voice and got a response every time.

Here they are behind the house.  I guess I could set up in the morning in that old building.  Would it be ethical to whack one of them from there or from the back porch??

I think they were interested in this hen.  They sure are tempting me.   :shck:   :wo:   :eyebrow:

I have always heard "Birds of a feather flock together", but this looks like turkeys flocking with a frog!  That's pretty cool carrying on there, Frogman.  A hearty "Ribot" to you sir.   :laf: :eyebrownod:

That is way cool.  I shoot coyotes out the window but we don't have any chicken eating turkeys so I guess they'd be safe.  But I sure know what I'd be thinking.
I say what I think not think what I say.
