Frogman

Here are some more photos from my diving trip . . .

A barracuda.

Above are two of the several lionfish we saw while diving at Bonaire.  The lionfish is endemic to the Pacific.  Somehow they have begun showing up in the Caribbean and Atlantic.  Thye prey on small baby fish and reproduce rapidly.  Since they are not native to the Caribbean they have no known predators here.  They are becoming a big problem and our dive guides are trying to control them by spearing them when ever they can.  Sounds like a new kind of underwater predator hunting to me??

One of our dive guides with a turtle.  We saw lots of turtles this year.

A larger turtle.

Photobucket is locking up again so I will post this and continue in "Frogman goes diving #3".  Sorry, I'm having lots of problems here today???
