Where are you guys buying these? I'm convinced and want to pick a couple up, but the only place I could find them in a online search was Cabelas. $30.00

Is that the only choice?

I haven't bought one yet, but I think Wal_mart carries them. I will prolly get them at Dick's Sporting Goods. I think $30.00 is about what they run.

Wal-Mart carries them, I have had one for several years and believe me they work, the best skeeter repellent I have ever used, $30.00 bucks is about standard.cc

They definately work!  I got mine at Wal-mart too.  The worst thing is the cost of the replacement butane cartridges.

About $6.  That would come to about $300/gallon or maybe more. :shck:

Well I ordered them from the Amazon seller KnifeCo, for 19.95 each.

I guess they made up the difference though, shipping for two of them was $13.00. They must be delivering them with my big ole Edelbrock fed Ford

Yep, Cabelas in Lacey washington, 21.99 for the machine, 9.99 for the case and 19.95 for the multi refill pack. In my hardback cabelas catalogue, spring 2008 edition, page 638. olive drab color 21.99, camo, 29.99. I went to the store to avoid shipping cost. One of my kids got me a gift cert for my Bday. Got some cool camo pants too.

Maybe somebody used it for a weekend of nightfishing or a party then took it back to get their money back. Personally,, mine will be with me in the AM again. Actually I sat along the river watching for a groundhog the other evening & was glad I had mine with me.

You never know where you can find these things several years ago before these things caught on one of the guys in the Hunt Club was at Home Depot and they were having a closeout on them and he bought all the club members one for $5.00 buck each.cc

I was just looking at mine and found the disclaimer that they actually ATTRACT mosquitoes in states starting with the letter M or W.  Where is it that you live?

There a lot bigger then I expected, no wonder the sell a holster for them also. Just wondering how hot they actually get.

I have the holster and usually strap it on my ankle so I don't have to wonder where it is.  I don't think I would want to lay it on my bare skin.
