Title: Rabbit Ted Nugent Style
Post by: finhunter on December 04, 2007, 05:44:09 PM
This is one of my favorite recipes from, Kill It & Grill, It by Ted Nugent.

Rabbit Belle Chasse

3 small rabbits, cut into approximately 6 pieces
1 to 2 lemons
Flour for dredging
Salt and pepper to taste
A spit more than a shimmer (1 to 2 tablespoon) of peanut oil.
Wad of sour cream

Rub rabbits with lemon and refrigerate overnight. Wipe rabbits with a damp cloth and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Roll the rabbits in flour and sear in hot skillet with the peanut oil until browned on both sides.
Place in a baking dish, cover with sour cream, and bake at 350 degrees for about 30 minutes.
Serve on a bed of rice.

That sounds good! I might have to go shoot a few rabbits.

That one is good from his Kill and Grill it book. I didn't care for the Sticky Rabbit one.
I love his Venison Strogenoff. My husband asks for that all the time!
