Title: 1st trip of the year
Post by: Dave on February 08, 2012, 10:41:04 AM
Went smallie fishng in the Susquehanna below Three Mile Island/Harrisburg.
This pic kind of shows the width, but the far shoreline is actually an island about 3/4 of the way accoss.  Just upriver it's supposed to be a mile accross, but doesn't seem it to me.

It was a slow day and I managed a few, with one about 15".  Between 5 of us we maybe caught 13 or 14 with the biggest about 18/19".
It seemed a lot colder than what was forcasted.  I HATE the wind.  I know it doesn't look it in the pics, but the wind was constant all day, coming right down the river.
