Title: Old fishing lures?
Post by: alscalls on July 07, 2008, 05:59:19 PM
Would you guys be interrested in some old fishing lures and wooden bobbers if I were to auction them off on here?

I am just checking to see if there is  some interest and I should have some pics buy the weekend.
It is an old tacle box full of stuff that I got at a yard sale some years ago........I sold one real beat up musky plug for $60 on E-bay and then just forgot I had the rest for about 8 years or so. I do not do anything with them and they are still in that same old metal tacklebox so I will try and get some pics for ya. and set up an auction if there is enough interest.

Please do. I like looking at old lures and such. I don't collect them but like to look.

Here is the best I can do for now......a pic from my phone.
There is even an old full box of 22 Rem. shorts, an empty gun cleaning brush tin (real nice shape), some braided line from Dupont an empty mono spool and a can that used to have a toilet float in it(bottom right) :laf:
this box is just how I bought it minus the one musky plug.
The little frog popper with deer hair legs seems unused as is the strange spoonlike crankbait thing in the orange box on right.

Are you gonna split it up or auction the whole thing off at once

Kinda funny how they made lures back then isnt it?
I had a huge box of stuff that belonged to my grandpa, and I was always fascinated going through it.  :eyebrownod:

Here is a sinker just like the one I have, only mine is in better shape and it appears the hooks on the E-bay one has been replaced mine are silver in color.
