Next year's fire wood, all up and drying. Even done before Thanksgiving.

Nasty send me a weasel for wood pile patrol.

Man, Jim, you are industrious!  Makes me tired just looking at your neat wood pile.  Wish we had some of that hardwood to burn out here.

Looks good, but you could start a pile for the following year - just in case you run out of trees up there.

Keeping it neat keeps my property from looking like a damn ghetto :laf: Plus it's easier to mow around :eyebrownod:
There's only two winters worth there. This winter and next winter.
We wont run out of trees up here Jerry. In fact no trees were harmed during the harvesting. These were all cut from carcasses laying on the hardwood forest floor. I have a permit to cut wood in a Hardwood Forest State Natural Area, but I'm not allowed to fell any trees myself.

That is a win-win for both you and the State Natural Area.
