By the end of September we need to have a contest for the last quarter Western Rivers Ecaller Give-Away, ready to run from there to the end of the year.

Looking for some ideas from you guys

The biggest coyote contest. and to get in to the contest you must pay 5 or 10 bucks entry fee to fnf bank.

I think Al just put his vote in for HuntnCarve.

I like the story or best post idea.  A good one liner that can make coke come out my nose may get my vote.  The picture thing is okay but it certainly narrows the field .  Two man teams out for a day coyote hunting and most stands could also win.  As I wouldn't use the prize anyway I won't enter the contest but I'll sure help out any way I can.
I say what I think not think what I say.

Let's give it to the guy who gets to 2835 posts first.   :innocentwhistle:

I wondered about sending it down to this years LBL Hunt too, and having either a drawing from attendees names....
or the first one with fur down takes it.

I like the LBL attendee drawing idea.    ;yes;    Some of us are fur-down challenged   and a drawing would level the playing field with the experts.   :eyebrownod:

Jim I like the LBL option too. Its an annual event that the members of this board love to do and attend, and what a better way to reward them.

Maybe give it to the guy that gets the best video of Jimmie laying on a predator call?  :innocentwhistle:

If it came to a vote I also would vote for those that do the LBL Hunt.
When they come for mine they better bring theirs

Main door prize at the LBL is cool.  :yoyo:

Okay remember before you get mad at me that I know very little about the LBL hunt or most anything for that matter :doh2:, what does it mean to the hunt giving away this type of prize.  Are other outfits allowed to donate to the prize pool?  I have seen controversy started over less so was just asking.

Ok now you pissed me off :argh:

Just kiddin

I dont think these guys would turn down anything Barry. For the first couple of years we all hit up the call makers and asked for things to be donated and givin away as prizes type things at the LBL. But to many, it became a sickening routine and with justification. I mean how much of this could any call maker take? LOL
Too many of them felt obligated and then those taking on the responsibility of rounding up donations felt awkward....and again with good justification. But the constant barrage of "can we have some stuff to give away?", took it's toll.

Mostly due to the fact that were limited in our number of members that might have something to pitch in, so the call makers stood out, time after time. So lately we've just been kind of leaving the door open.
We never really got too carried away with any of it, because one of the major concerns was turning this event into a hunting contest, which everyone has vowed not to do. They want to keep it a gathering with hunting benefits.
So most of what is hauled out and givin away is for small door prizes, raffle drawing type of thing.
