Title: Snow on top and flowers below
Post by: Okanagan on May 04, 2021, 11:22:27 AM
Love this time of year, with frequent fresh snow on nearby mountains and spring flowers at low elevation.

Very pretty.  Only flowers here are dandelions and they are not doing well.

Daughter-in-law is a super gardener.  The rhododendrons (red pic) are the most naturally abundant of wild flowers all through our forest, and will gradually blossom from low elevation to high as the season warms and spring/summer moves up the mountainsides.  The wild ones are mostly pinks and lavenders.

Our dandelions are in full bloom, daffodils about done, tulips prime.  Prime spring bear sightings just beginning.

'Daughter-in-law is a super gardener' is an understatement.  I love the bright colors.  Around here the redbuds are falling off and the lyrics are starting to go brown. 😞

VERY nice flower garden. None of that here due to the weather.

The longest drought in the past two decades, cactus are even struggling to survive.  But sun tea is doing great....

Beautiful flowers.
