WALLEYE are running

My buddy Mike and I went thursday morning to the French Broad River,TN we got started fishing around 8:00am and by 1:00pm we had our limit.we caught these drift fishing using 5/16 ounce and 1/2 ounce river jigs.

 :yoyo:  :yoyo: Dip them in some beer batter and you will be set!!!  Awesome catch.  A few have started running here in WV but I'd say in about 2 more weeks it will be on.

JIM one is a sauger and the other i think is a saugeye the rest walleye.Theve been running down here for about 2 weeks this was my first trip out.MIKE talked me out of going coyote hunting glad he did now them Walleye sure taste better than coyote  :laf: !Ive got fishing fever now BUT all those storms moved through yeaterday and got the rivers muddy so  :confused: im going back to coyotes for a day or 2 :eyebrownod:

Rumors going around there's some nice ones gettin taken up here finally.
I'm going to see if I can get in on some of that this weekend. :eyebrow: The Core of Engineers shows the water at 46 degrees :eyebrow:
