Well this hog was just in the wrong place, at the wrong time. Once again, I heard that little HaMer voice in my head that implored me to reach for the binos as I headed out onto the deck? DANG! Way out yonder was a hog.
"No way he'll still be there by the time I get the rifle?" I replied to no one in particular.
"Well I'll be!" He's still there". Whaahoooo!
Placing the crosshairs on his neck I touched off a .22 round. Thwop! He collapsed as if the ground was pulled out from under him. Thank you little HaMer voice. Number 6 is now in the books (and on the fox's menu tonight).
Good hunting!
