Title: May 7 Snow and a Visitor
Post by: MI VHNTR on May 07, 2021, 06:45:13 PM
I went to camp this morning and was greeted by this moose leaving the camp property. It was still snowing at the time.

Moose are definitely the animal for 'leg' men.

The moose have eaten most of the buds on the maple saplings near the camp and broken the trunks on quite a few of them. They also go after the mineral blocks that I set out for the animals.

Them damb critters have decimated our wild berry bush's around here.  We never had them when I was young and man did they have a lot to eat.  With no natural predators around here for them they have escalated their numbers in a big way.
