Soon as we pick the kids up from practice we're all going down.  My kids want to see what its like to vote.  Nothing special around here, we're still using a pencil  :laf:

Btw... I'm voting for the war hero and his good lookin side kick.

As much as I would like to see things differently in our government I don't believe the sandman is the answer. I had no intention whatsoever of voting for him to begin with & the final nail was when I seen Ol Glory twisting in the breeze at ny precinct. I thought to myself "By God I will not be the one that elects a man that does not love this Country!!"

While McCain is definitely the lesser of two evils for my needs I voted to keep a fellow American in the WHITE House. This is not a good time to be looking outside of the box for this Great Nations help. So I voted for the only true red blooded American on my ballot.

Besides, I wanna see a VP in a miniskirt more often.  :yoyo:

Ya know whats funny?
I have told myself for several months after watching the television that I'm not even going to vote.
I honestly cannot see anything good coming from either candidate, and I pretty much gave up.

Kyle has been giving me a hard time for several days ever since he asked me who I'm voting for and my reply was, "I'm not".
And I honestly had no intention to.

I came home from work tonight around 3:00, read the few initial posts in this thread and grabbed my van keys.
Kyle says, "Where ya goin?"
I said, "I'm going down to vote".
He says, "I thought you weren't going to vote", as he climbed in the passenger side and shuts the door.
I said, " I wasn't going to but if that son of a bitch wins I wont be able to live with myself knowing I did nothing to oppose it.

Kyle said,  :sad3:

I'd seen how my state voted, it actually brought a small tear to my eye.  I've never felt so ashamed in my life.  Didnt even feel that ashamed when the tape of me shooting the moon at the bowling alley was going around town.

HaMer You are on our side and on the inside....if hell breaks loose you are right where we need ya brother. Just write more letters than ever before!
When I went to vote I saw probably 100 people leave cause they had an hour wait and just four booths to vote from......I wonder how it woulda went if folks could vote no waiting?????! Sad to say but we are too busy to care enough to stand in line for our rights......And we only have the choices we are given. :rolleye: Now we must labor hard on our fight for what we believe and let em all know we are in the game to stay and are willing to die for our country.........so writing letters and making phone calls is just easy when you look at it that way.
On another note:
When I went to work today I dropped to my knees and faced the sun flipping the double bird with my hat off! .....One of my co workers yelled what the hell ya doin Al??! I said how in the hell do you think a bald red neck is going to wear a turbin and bow to anything without it falling off!!!!!!! Then I yelled LA LA LA LA LA Would you like to buy a slushie?  :roflmao: :roflmao: :roflmao: :roflmao: :roflmao: :roflmao: :roflmao: :roflmao: :roflmao: :roflmao: :roflmao: :roflmao: They all cracked up laughing at me.
I will not give up and dont you guys either we all need you

Guys,
Al just told me the story about what he did at work today when I talked to him on the phone a little while ago.  I  just about blew a gasket I laughed so hard.   :roflmao:   :roflmao:  I hope he isn't responsible for aggravating my diverticulitus.  It's been doing pretty well recently, but that really put a strain on me.   :eyebrownod:  :eyebrownod:
