I just love going out with the boy and whacking a flock of those things, but mannn it's getting to the point ya need rubber gloves for the pictures with all this West Nile crap going around.
They recently had a confirmed case here found in a dead crow.

Couple pics...

First 200 yard plus kill with the 17HMR. Back before 17HMR's were cool... had to purchase ammo on backorder from manucaturer since the caliber was relatively unheard of.
