They are just looking for a free meal.  Bass is pretty tasty.

I say what I think not think what I say.

Nice pike!  I wouldn't complain too much.   :laf:

My bro in law is hammering small mouth bass on the Columbia River right now, big ones. This is the prime month for catching big walleye on the Columbia but he keeps getting distracted by bass. Am tempted to drive over and fish with him but hate the wind there this time of year, and don't relish bouncing around in a boat in cold wind.

You were just one type-o from a whole lot of humiliation.  :innocentwhistle:

I wasnt really complaining Clyde. Maybe a bit of bragging lol :laught17:
I've been slamming the Smallies here for several weeks and loving every minute of it. I'm not in the kayak chasing them but I have several shore honey holes
Couple of vids of the actions http://forum.finsandfur.net/index.php?topic=22363.msg233850;topicseen#msg233850
I really expected the Large Mouth bass to start prespawn as the river temps nudge into the 60's. Couple trips out in the yak in search of them makes me feel like I'm too early with all these Pike.
I mean I dont mind hookin up a few more Smallies while I wait.  :yoyo:
