It beat workin for a day

Were shut down for the week at work, due to lack of interest lack of sales.
Seems no one wants to buy a new home. Go figure 

Anyway, the girls were here for the weekend and decided to stay till Wednesday since Dad's acting an unemployed fool. We hit the beach most of the day one day and casted the slews yesterday for some bass. We caught a few but nothing worth bragging about.

This morning once I managed to get everyone up we decided to set under the bridge in the shade and see if we could jerk out some blue gills. MANNNNNNNNNNNNNN did it get HOT fast

It wasn't looking real promising as they were biting like crazy and after re-baiting your hook 7 or 8 times we'd pull one of these out







I got lucky and found some bass, problem was my hook was bigger then they were





Then out of no where the girls started yanking these slabs up 
Well they were slabs compared to the first two hours re baiting for more minnows.





All in all we ended up with a rather small mess of fish, and two sweaty but happy girls.

  Awesome job Dad .  The ones a perch and I take it the others are the Blue gills and what is the one beside your daughter .  I'm also glad to see you at least taught them to wear shirts .

cant get any better then that can it Jim. You better be careful, those girls will be out fishing ya soon enough. 

Now if it was me........I'd get a hold of Rick and see if he couldn't mount that Boone and Crockett bass of yours. That there is a conversational piece.

His girls are already out-fishing him.  One of the girls caught that fish and Jim asked her to take a picture of him with her fish.
