Title: Trade Days
Post by: Bills Custom Calls on June 21, 2008, 04:42:55 PM
Well I survived this one

My stand wasn't to far from the horse and buggy parking lot, which turned out pretty good for me.
Since more then half of my sale came from the amish.

Lets not mistake this smile as a good one. There were reports of a little blonde haired boy going around opening
the doors on the bird cages. He never admitted it but his parents were told to keep a better eye on him

I did take the lathe along just to keep me busy in the slower moments, but that seemed to attract some attention
and folks would get to asking questions and I didn't get much turning done, but it did help in sales

Here is a pic of the table I had the calls on

I did have a DVD playing.Starring Brent Saxton
Seemed like the right one to play since it was shot right here in Ohio.Believe it or not there are some folks say we don't have coyotes here

Lots of cards handed out with some possible orders coming in

I am taking this as a hint as you will be one of the bidders  :laf:
I need a day or so to get my shop back in order. Then I will get some things posted

Al depending on what walnut deer call you got dibs on.The Curly/tiger walnut I had showen here that one sold
the one that is listed for sale is still for sale

I should have put a tip jar there as well, and if everyone that told me that I done a really nice job on the calls would have left a dollar I would have walked away with a fist full.
