The rain let up once so I took a pick of my decoys......

Then I packed up and the next day I went to a new place to hunt closer to home and I walked about a mile and a half to where I was going to hunt. When I got there a half grown bull new to the place decided he wanted to chase me and I busted him on the nose with a big stick....he ran off and I kept walking.....I heard something......so I looked behind me.
Here he came running straight at me :sad3:
I managed to fend him off for good this time and continued to my spot. It was now about 9:30am...
When I got there I peeked over the rise of a hill and saw a Hen staggering in one spot and flaring her feathers funny....then she would lay down and stand right back up and do it again.....I had not seen this in so long, and I was so tired from the walking without sitting down I yelped 3 times to see what she would do... :doh2: GOBBBLLE! She was waiting to be bred by a Tom that was no farther than 30 yds. over the rise and he gobbled so loud I thought my teeth would fall out!
I slowly sat down against a tree where they could not see me for the rise in the hill....About half way down my bum hip decided it had had enough after the earlier bull chase and I went down hard right on an empty Pop bottle I left in my game pouch from the day before....... :laf: CRUNCH!!
I could have shot him running away but I chose to laugh instead...I will return here Monday and endure the long walk again Bringing a new present for the bull and I will only use one hen decoy. I will call once or twice and then just sit the whole time and wait for him and see what happens...... :roflmao: :roflmao: :roflmao: :roflmao: I wonder what will happen next. :laf:

Still beats not getting out there.
I walked around for 2 hours looking for Morels. Everything I walked was dryer then  popcorn fart.

Said piss on it, and went fishin, caught one fish :doh2:
