Title: Bowhunting groundhogs
Post by: FinsnFur on June 03, 2013, 05:31:47 AM
Speaking of Groundhogs, take a look at the awesome footage this guy gets. He puts the camera next to hole for a lot of shots, and then he gets in front of the camera several yards out.
It almost like the hog comes out to look at the camera, so he is distracted while the bowman lines up behind him in full camera view :laf:

Actually that is HuntNCarve.   He just says that he uses firearms when he kills those groundhogs around his house.   :innocentwhistle:

I would say that the archer lives in a hog enriched area.  We sure don't have them like that anymore around here.  Years ago we did, but no more.

Those are some nasty looking points.

I thought the same thing. I'm not a bow guy at all, but it looked to me like it would feel like getting hit with a roll of quarters with a fork inside it, but have the impact of a tie rod end. :laf: Ya know what I'm saying? I mean it looks like there's more impact then there is penetration.

There is i have a few of those points ad they thump em. The edges arent sharp. I hit mine with a file and stone but from factory the are just a pointy edge. Not razor sharp like a broadhead.
