So, i havent heard anything in a while.

Does anyone know if I will need another bolt/carrier?  I am trying to get all of my ducks in a row before making the purchase.

I have one from ar15 barrels and have gotten two deer with it( only used it one year, I prefer handguns  ). I have to shoot supersonic and use 125g bullets or less to get it to cycle, I think if the hole for the gas tube was opened more it would work. I think (it was a while ago) that I used a shortened buffer spring too. I use WC680 powder. Back when Randy was starting out and on the old TC/L I picked up the 'blem' barrel he had and it shoots  well enough to take deer.  :eyebrow:
I shoot it in a Contender, 10" barrel for handgun silhouettes and it has gotten me to win a few state championships here in WI. I use 168g and 200g LeadHead bullets, speeds from 1300 to 1700 fps with no leading. Knocks all the rams down with no problems at 200 meters. Very low recoil, just fun to shoot.
I use both the 221 and 223 brass and the 223 brass is cheap and with a trim die I got from 4HCD it is easy to make. One pass with a hack saw and it's ready to clean up.

you can still use the same bolt/carrier as you use with the .223 because it is the same rim dia.
