Title: Opening Day Bow Season
Post by: Bills Custom Calls on September 26, 2009, 08:55:27 AM
Here in Ohio
I got up 5am got some coffee to wake myself up and started getting ready.By 7:10 I was in the woods and all set up and ready for the first day of deer season.
The weather was in my favor since the weather man had said it was gona start raining just after midnight and rain all day,but it isn't raining yet and it is 7:30am and the woods is starting to wake up.I heard a coyote howl off in the distance and some squirrels barking back and forth and one even came in for a visit(no I didn't sing it to sleep)  :laf:

Oh Listen what the heck was that, dadgumit it is thunder as I set there just hoping a deer would show up before the storm to make my opening day complete,it never happened
The wind started blowing and the rains came and I came back home
All in all it was a good morning

Well, I went to Michigan to take care of my granddaughter so the kids could get away for a couple of days.  I haven't seen any deer here, but saw a really nice flock of turkeys on the way to church this morning.
