...to the forum that is, not to hunting! Since this will be my first post I'd like to send THANKS to the boards Admin for unlocking the back door and letting me in. Next I'd like to Thank God for my children. If it not been for my youngest son Jason and his ability to hit fast moving targets I'd still been looking for this little girl this morning. The fog rolled in on us heavy this morning on our first set. I made a bad hit on this young yote and she ran out in a pasture and fell. Well on the way out to retrieve her she found the energy to get up at Mach 1 and run again, she'd been better off to just lay still. :nofgr:

She fell victim to the Fox Pro FX3 and the XR100 in the 204 Ruger. This is a bad combo for these middle Georgia coyotes.
Welcome to FNF GunDog ! Good to see another Georgian here ! :highclap:
Jeb
Welcome to the site. And congrats and the FurDown
Nice rifle stock, by the way. is that a Boyds?
Welcome aboard. Had a XP 100 many years ago, sorry I ever got rid of it.
Welcome GunDog!!
Thanks for the welcomes and compliments! As for the stock on the rifle it is the way it came from the remington factory. Standard on the XR-100. It does look like one of those Boyds. Jeb what part of Geogia do you call home?
Nice :yoyo:
Welcome aboard !
Scott

GunDog Im up in the NW part of the state just below Rome. Lots of places up here to hunt they are just small tracts. Only big tracts of land to hunt are short pines, cant see your hand in front of your face its so thick. Glad you found FNF !

JohnP - Ya don't need the glasses just yet sir! It was my error, and I edited the original post. I have a good neighbor here behind me thru the woods a bit that has a XP-100 in the .221 Remington fireball. We were shooting it a few days ago and I reckon I just had it on my mind. Sorry for the confusion sir, and have a good night! :whew:
Welcome!! :congrats: :congrats: :congrats:
Welcome and we are glad to have you here. I am assuming that you like the Remington pretty well. I looked at those when they first came out, but couldn't afford or justify another rifle.

Welcome man!! :yoyo: :yoyo:
howdy, welcome to FnF, nice job on the coyote :yoyo:
Thanks again for the warm welcome fellers. It is very much appreciated! It does seem to be a good place to share the hunting stories and hang out. We tried to retire another coyote here this morning but got busted before we could get the shot off. We were in some pretty tight quarters and the wind couldn't make it's mind up which way to blow. We'd did get a peek here, then a peek there. The coyote finally had enough and left us scratching our heads.
