OT, sort of. :wo:
Took the Varmnit Mobile out today for it's first run in 2007. Had a beautiful and sunny warm day for it and not much traffic with so many suffering from last nights parties on The Strip. Blew it out real good on the deserted twisting highway near Red Rock Canyon (I think the wide smile may not go away for days). This picture was taken there, but back in July 2005 right after I bought it and had it trucked in from WA state. Is the same picture that was used in the 2006 Corvette Registry calendar. She was Miss August last year, but began life late '72 in Las Vegas known as the Elvis Vette with a mural of him on the rear deck as part of the custom paint job she got while still brand new. Elvis is covered over now, but the bullet proof IMROM paint is still near perfect after 34 years. Other than the custom interior and wheels - updated A/C she is still all stock and about 99%. Very fun ride in a straight line... but a little hairy in the turns.
Only sort of off topic BTW, as she is a great varmint "calling" machine. :innocentwhistle:

Let me be the first to say THAT IS SHARP
Ladobe,
You be careful calling varmints in that machine. You might just pick up some two-legged varmints and they could have more than fleas. :iroll:

SA Weeeeeet! :yoyo:
My daughter would melt if she saw that. She's an 'old vette' lunatic.
I could see myself getting into a lot of trouble with that.
Brad
That's a "kitty" magnet for sure. Nice!

Well, just come pick me up bud and we'll take her for..........uh.......... :innocentwhistle:
Sure is a sweet ride..........
My wife is right behind me.......... :whew: :eyebrownod:
Can't take credit for anything except buying her. But she is a fox magnet for sure - gets me into a lot of trouble with the young gold diggers looking for a Sugar Daddy (and Vegas has a lot of beautiful young gold diggers). My first C3, but I've had 5 C1's before her. Must be something about the Shark body style... can't be my "body" anymore. :rolleye:
Mostly just used for running errands as she draws way too much attention with the wild paint scheme to be used as a daily driver. Can't buy gas, stop at a red light or park anyplace without having somebody wanting to look her over or ask questions about her. Always being followed when driving down the road too... don't mind the pretty girls in newer Vette's doing it, but when it's the local boys in blue it really cramps her style should I get the urge to kick her in the arse (which I often do). That's what the old Vette's were made for isn't it?
IOW, if you have an itch, scratch it.

Oh Yeah! Sounds as good as she looks! :yoyo:
Everybody follows it.....that's funny :laf: I can see it happening too. Especially the boys in blue :eyebrownod:
