Title: Cabin reservations
Post by: Jimmie in Ky on January 03, 2007, 03:59:01 PM
I did mine this afternoon. A number have already been reserved for this weekend. Keekee will be using cabin A03 right next to mine which is A02.

You can do htis at http://www.reserveusa.com

Or by Phone at 1-877-444-6777

Do read and understand all rules of campground use. One thing we will have to be more considerate of this year is other campers. Quiet time starts at 11:00 pm, so no howling contest's after that time  :nono: Jimmie

There's actually other people camping this time of year? What if they howl at us first?  :eyebrownod:

I'll just send Bopeye over to bite 'em  :eyebrownod:

We did get the lights flashed on and off last year due to folks wanting to go to sleep next door. Don't Want Charlie to tell us to shut up  Jimmie

I have zero howling skills, but if someone shows up with chicken fried beaver vs the chili [as advertized] I might learn some quick

Checked just for S&G, and it would be about a 1,742 mile drive from my place one way.   As hard as long hours behind the wheel are on my body now days (or any traveling for that matter), I'd have to leave tomorrow to get there in time for the 2008 hunt.    :rolleye:

Hope you all have a great time - sounds like a blast.   I'll be reading the reports anyway, even if I can't be there to put faces and names together and to show you eastern folks how it's done.    :innocentwhistle:    :shck:

Some one already mentioned this but it bears repeating.  Bring an electric heater with you.  You will need it!   They don't allow propane heaters in the cabins.  :readthis:
